Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Applications Technologist / Food Tech Grad to join a fantastic food manufacturer who are based in Somerset.  The company are very keen on developing their staff members to enhance their passionate workforce whilst also supplying their customers with the very best produce.

 

The Role

Reporting into the Technical / Quality Department, the company is seeking an energetic & positive candidate who has experience of food manufacturing.

Attention to detail is key to this role and the company is seeking a confident individual who is able to work well on their own and also within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture food and / or beverage samples to certain recipes for internal analysis
  • Create samples and complete paperwork for customer presentations and support
  • Maintaining sample library
  • Managing laboratory consumables and raw materials
  • Ensure work areas and equipment are kept clean and tidy

Role Requirements:

  • Work effectively and efficiently, maintaining excellent planning and time management
  • Understand, uphold and sustain customer expectation for quality and speed of service
  • Actively participate in the wider issues of the business and support the strategic objectives of the business

Qualifications:

  • GCSE or equivalent at Grade C or above in Maths, English and Science
  • Food Hygiene

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
